[a11y] RangeSlider mouse interaction should change keyboard focus (#182185) 
fix: https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/173575 

RangeSlider manages its own focus node for 2 thumbs. ( a special case
because it's one widget, one render object but two focus nodes)

so when you dragging a thumb, or tap a thumb, the focus node should
request focus.

Do not wait until dispose before removing replaced/popped page (#182315) 
Regression was introduced in [Cleans up navigator pop and remove
logic](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/175612/changes#top).

That PR moved the `onDidRemovePage` call to `_flushHistoryUpdates` in
phase `_RouteLifecycle.dispose`. But waiting until `dispose` causes
potential problems if the widget is rebuilt in a phase preceding that
(but after `pop` or `pushReplacement` has been called). So the outdated
page remains in the pages list even after it has been marked for
removal.

This is causing the page to be pushed again before it is finally
removed, causing the flicker.

Add contentTextStyle support to SimpleDialog (#178824) 
## Description

This PR adds `contentTextStyle` support to `SimpleDialog`, matching the
functionality already available in `AlertDialog`.

### Problem

`SimpleDialog` was ignoring `DialogTheme.contentTextStyle`, even though
the `DialogThemeData.contentTextStyle` documentation explicitly states
it applies to `SimpleDialog.children`:

> "Overrides the default value for DefaultTextStyle for
SimpleDialog.children and AlertDialog.content."

However, only `AlertDialog` actually implemented this behavior, forcing
developers to specify text styles individually on each child widget.

### Solution

Added `contentTextStyle` parameter to `SimpleDialog` and applied it
using `DefaultTextStyle`, following the same pattern as `AlertDialog`.
The implementation uses the standard fallback chain:

`contentTextStyle` parameter → `DialogTheme.contentTextStyle` → M2/M3
defaults

### Testing

Added a new test `'SimpleDialog Custom Content Text Style'` that
verifies `contentTextStyle` is correctly applied to the children of
`SimpleDialog`.

broke the tree, because https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/182395
also landed and probably conflicted with it.

feat: add routes support in TestWidgetsApp (#181695) 
Feat: Add routes and transitionBuilder support in TestWidgetsApp

As many test might need navigation with routes, we need to expose route
from WidgetApp to TestWidgetsApp.

[Web] Fix IME and selection by syncing more text styles (#180436)

The current implementation does not fully reflect
[letter-spacing](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference/Properties/letter-spacing),
[word-spacing](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference/Properties/word-spacing),
and
[line-height](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference/Properties/line-height)
in the DOM. 0bc99f8c4f70973a1877c88ca35804e9bc5fabcf
And the current implementation generates an DomHTMLTextAreaElement every
time the `enabled`. Therefore, it reapplies the
[scrollTop](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Element/scrollTop)
value that the Element had been holding internally.

Remove Material dependency from transformed_scrollable_test.dart (#182141) 
Replace `MaterialApp` with `TestWidgetsApp` and
`Colors.blue`/`Colors.red` with named constants to remove the Material
library dependency.

Fix cross imports for all Cupertino tests (#181634)

The RawRadio widget and its associated tests are part of the Widgets
layer, not the Material layer. By replacing the broad material.dart
import with specific imports (foundation.dart, semantics.dart, and
widgets.dart), we ensure better architectural layering and prevent the
Widgets layer from accidentally depending on Material components.

This is a non-breaking change that purely cleans up imports in a test
file.

[web] Fix scroll event bubbling in iframes (#179703) 
Fixes scroll event bubbling when Flutter web is embedded in an
iframe(#156985).

When a scrollable handles a wheel event, it now calls
respond(allowPlatformDefault: false) to signal the engine.

In iframe mode, the engine always calls preventDefault() to block native
scroll chaining, then uses postMessage to explicitly scroll the parent
page only when all scrollables are at boundary

Disable hardware keyboard regularity warning by default (#181894) 
Suppresses https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/125975

This PR disable hardware keyboard regularity warning unless
`debugPrintKeyboardEvents` is set.

Keyboard state synchronization has proven extremely difficult, largely
due to the asynchronous communication between the engine and framework.
Unfortunately, I haven't had the bandwidth to fix it, causing developers
to experience false errors during hot restarts. It's time to acknowledge
this and prioritize development experience over idealism by disabling
these useless warnings.

I apologize for the issues I've caused over the years. Perhaps someday
we can make this work with a fully regular event stream.

fix: OutlineInputBorder not respecting BorderSide stroke alignment (#180487) 
This PR fixes `OutlineInputBorder` to properly respect the strokeAlign
property of `BorderSide`. Previously, the border was always drawn as if
strokeAlign was set to strokeAlignInside, regardless of the actual value
specified.

[Material] Remove Material import from backdrop_filter_test.dart widget tests (#181386)

Migrate backdrop_filter_test.dart to use only widget imports following
issue #177415. Split the tests into two files:

- Widgets tests
(packages/flutter/test/widgets/backdrop_filter_test.dart):
  * Removed Material import, now uses widgets-only
  * Replaced MaterialApp + Scaffold with Directionality wrapper
  * Replaced Colors.black.withAlpha(40) with Color(0x28000000)
  * Kept 2 tests that validate BackdropFilter key behavior

- Material tests
(packages/flutter/test/material/backdrop_filter_test.dart):
  * Moved 4 Material-specific golden file tests (M2/M3 comparisons)
* These tests require Material theming to validate rendering differences

- Updated dev/bots/check_tests_cross_imports.dart to remove
backdrop_filter_test.dart

This approach keeps Material-specific tests in the material directory
while enabling the simple widget tests to pass without Material
dependencies.

Move Material-specific Banner tests to the appropriate test file:
- `Banner widget in MaterialApp` test moved to material/banner_test.dart
- `CheckedModeBanner does not crash at zero area` test moved to
material/banner_test.dart

Remove Material import from `widgets/banner_test.dart` since all
remaining tests only use widgets-level BannerPainter and BannerLocation
APIs.

Update cross imports list to remove banner_test.dart from
knownWidgetsCrossImports.

All tests pass and no formatting issues detected.

Propagates Overlay's MediaQueryData to OverlayPortal child (#181579) 
Widgets like Scaffold strip MediaQueryData causing widgets rendered in
the Overlay to be obscured, e.g., by the software keyboard.

This does not directly fix these two issues but appears to be an
underlying issue with both which merited this being a separate PR. I

Remove Material library dependency from expansible_test.dart (#181657) 
This PR removes the unnecessary dependency on the Material library from
expansible_test.dart by replacing `MaterialApp` with `WidgetsApp`.

Part of #177415

### Changes

1. **Import change**: Replaced `package:flutter/material.dart` with
`package:flutter/widgets.dart`

2. **Widget setup**: Changed from `MaterialApp(home: ...)` to
`TestWidgetsApp(home: ...)`
- `WidgetsApp` requires either `builder`, `onGenerateRoute`, or
`pageRouteBuilder` to be provided
If neither builder nor onGenerateRoute are provided, the
pageRouteBuilder must be specified so that the default handler will know
what kind of PageRoute transition to build.

3. **Updated position assertions**: Since `WidgetsApp` with `builder`
doesn't include the default scaffold/status bar padding that
`MaterialApp` with `home` provides, the expected y-coordinate values
were adjusted by -34 pixels:
   - `90.08984375` → `56.08984375`
   - `98.0` → `64.0`
   - `80.91015625` → `46.91015625`
   - `48.0` → `14.0`

Remove unnecessary Material import from cupertino/slider_test.dart (#180957) 
## Description

Remove unnecessary Material import and Material widget wrappers from
`cupertino/slider_test.dart`.

The CupertinoSlider tests were using `Material` widget wrappers
unnecessarily. CupertinoSlider is a Cupertino widget that doesn't
require Material ancestors.

## Related Issue

Contributes to #177412

## Tests

All 21 tests in `slider_test.dart` pass after this change.

Reduce reliance on Material in page_transitions_test.dart (#181467) 
This PR reduces the reliance on Material in page_transitions_test.dart
but does not entirely remove it.

1) Moves a test for persistent bottom sheet to the right file
2) Fixes a use of `sync*` (not sure why this is not caught by
dev/bots/analyze.dart, that _does_ check for `sync*` cc @Piinks )
3) Replaces some easy usages of Material widgets with its widget
counterparts.

The only thing that I did not yet fix is replacing `MaterialApp` in this
file. That probably needs @victorsanni 's work on page transitions to be
addressed first?

Remove material from slivers_appbar_floating_pinned_test.dart + slivers_appbar_stretch_test.dart + sliver_persistent_header_test.dart + slivers_appbar_floating_test.dart (#181469) 
This PR cleans up material imports in
slivers_appbar_floating_pinned_test.dart (this was actually testing
`SliverPinnedHeader` ?) and moves tests from
`test/widgets/slivers_appbar_stretch_test.dart` to the right test file
under the Material tests.

A bunch of tests have been moved 1 to 1 to their new destination. Some
test code was deduplicated and a bunch of tests had their names fixed.
Except for one test that needed an updated `find` expression, due to a
change in one of the `SliverPersistentHeaderDelegate`s, nothing was
semantically changed in the tests that were updated in this PR.

### Problem
The P3-to-sRGB color conversion applies an affine matrix directly to
gamma-encoded values in both the C++ engine (`dl_color.cc`) and Dart
(`painting.dart`). This is mathematically incorrect — color space
conversion matrices must operate in linear light. The result is P3
colors that appear nearly identical to sRGB instead of showing the full
gamut difference.
For example, P3 `#1ECAD3` (30/255, 202/255, 211/255) converts to:
- **Old (wrong):** extendedSRGB (-0.12, 0.86, 0.87)
- **New (correct):** extendedSRGB (-0.38, 0.81, 0.84)
The red channel error of 0.26 is clearly visible — colors appear washed
out instead of vivid.

### Fix
Replace the single affine matrix multiply with the correct 3-step
pipeline:
1. **Linearize** — decode gamma via sRGB EOTF
2. **Transform** — apply 3x3 P3-to-sRGB matrix in linear space
3. **Encode** — re-apply gamma via sRGB OETF
Extended range (negative values from out-of-gamut colors) is handled by
mirroring the transfer function.
**C++ (`dl_color.cc`):** Replace affine matrix with `p3ToExtendedSrgb()`
using `double` precision.
**Dart (`painting.dart`):** Replace `_MatrixColorTransform` with
`_P3ToSrgbTransform` and `_SrgbToP3Transform` classes. Also fixes the
sRGB-to-P3 direction.

### Performance
Negligible. The C++ conversion runs once per paint setup in `ReadColor`,
not per frame or per pixel. The Dart conversion runs once per
`Color.withValues()` call.

### Tests
- **C++:** Added `ColorSpaceP3ToExtendedSRGBLinearLight` test in
`dl_color_unittests.cc`
- **Dart:** Added 3 tests in `colors_test.dart`: mid-range
P3→extendedSRGB, P3 green→extendedSRGB, sRGB→P3 round-trip
All new tests fail with the old code and pass with the fix. Existing
tests continue to pass.

Wraps all 16 WidgetsBindingObserver callback invocations in try-catch
blocks to prevent silent failures and ensure all observers are notified
even when one throws an exception.

Previously, exceptions in observer callbacks would either:
- Be silently discarded (method channel handlers)
- Prevent subsequent observers from being notified

Now, exceptions are properly reported via FlutterError.reportError and
all observers continue to receive notifications.

This PR introduces a TestWidgetsApp utility class that provides a
minimal WidgetsApp wrapper for widget tests, replacing direct usage of
Directionality widgets.

- mouse_region_test.dart - Replaced 13 Directionality usages
- opacity_test.dart - Replaced 2 Directionality usages
- slivers_evil_test.dart - Replaced 3 Directionality usages and removed
redundant MediaQuery wrappers

Deprecate onReorder callback (#178242) 
This pull request deprecates the old `onReorder` callback of
`ReorderableList` / `SliverReorderableList` / `ReorderableListView`, in
favor of a new callback, `onReorderItem`, that does the index correction
as mentioned in the docs at
https://api.flutter.dev/flutter/widgets/ReorderCallback.html

I added tests to ensure that the old callback is preferred when both are
provided and tests that assert that the new callback does the index
correction correctly. I also noticed that some tests used empty
callbacks for `onReorder`, those have been updated to use wildcards in a
consistent manner.

I did not opt into making a design doc, since the change itself is very
small, that will also be apparent in the migration guide that I am going
to write.
