Reland: Add framework-side hitTestBehavior support to Semantics (#178817) (#179352)
This is a reland of #178817, which was reverted in #179100 due to test failures. The original PR introduced `hitTestBehavior` to the semantics framework but incorrectly applied `opaque` behavior to `ModalRoute`, which blocked platform views from receiving pointer events. Instead of making the entire modal opaque, we: 1. Keep `ModalRoute` without explicit `hitTestBehavior` (defaults to `defer`) 2. Make only the dialog/sheet content opaque (blocks clicks to barrier) 3. Platform views remain clickable because they're outside the opaque content boundary Fixes #149001 Original PR: #177570 Revert: #178744 |

This change reverts the following previous change:
This is a reland of #177570, which was reverted in #178744 due to test
failures.
The original PR introduced `hitTestBehavior` to the semantics framework
but incorrectly applied `opaque` behavior to `ModalRoute`, which blocked
platform views from receiving pointer events.
Instead of making the entire modal opaque, we:
1. Keep `ModalRoute` without explicit `hitTestBehavior` (defaults to
`defer`)
2. Make only the dialog/sheet content opaque (blocks clicks to barrier)
3. Platform views remain clickable because they're outside the opaque
content boundary

Remove semantics geometry shortcircuit (#178680)
Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/173097 The semantics flush is ~200 μs slower with the shortcuircut removed + #177477 (which reduces the time increase by ~ 100 μs, from 876 μs to 773 μs) I tried to introduce caching in [a different patch](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/compare/master...LongCatIsLooong:semantics-geometry?expand=1) but that patch is more risky and still needs a cleanup. 773 μs doesn't seem bad considering there were little to no geometry updates between frames before the fix. Add blockAccessibilityFocus flag (#175551)

- Accessibility focus, which is the focus used by screen readers like
TalkBack and VoiceOver, is different from input focus.
- Our current logic use some existing flags to decide if a node is
accessibilty focusable. like "if it's a slider / has a check state / has
keyboard focus/..., then it's a11y focusable"

Refactor OverlayPortal semantics (#173005)
Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/163576 Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/175184 This PR refactored the grafting part on `OverlayPortal`. Originally, the semantics tree of `OverlayPortal` was constructed/grafted in render object phase to make sure the correctness of the traversal order. However this resulted wrong hit-test order and the issue surfaced on web. With the fact that on web we are not able to graft/correct hit-test order tree, this PR: * Reverts the original grafting of the `OverlayPortal` so the hit-test order is always correct. * Then, we adds the grafting and updates the traversal order when we send `childrenInTraversalOrder` to engine. * Updating `childrenInTraversalOrder` causes it have different length from the length of `childrenInHitTestOrder` and wrong hit-test transform of the `OverlayPortal` children because when the transform is calculated, it assumes a correct traversal order. [a11y] Add expanded flag support to Android. (#174981)
Closes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/92040 - Adds `expanded` semantics flag support to Android - Adds `onExpand` and `onCollapse` semantics actions - Updates `robolectric` library - Adds java and dart tests #### Why were `onExpand` and `onCollapse` actions added? It turned out that TalkBack doesn't announce the `expanded` state if `expand/collapse` action is not set for the accessibility node. #### Why was the `robolectric` library updated? The `expanded` state support in Android was introduced in API 36. The `roboelectric: 4.14.1` doesn't support API 36. To run tests for a newly added functionality `roboelectric` library was updated to `4.16`, which supports the latest Android version (https://github.com/robolectric/robolectric/releases/tag/robolectric-4.16). Update some semantics flags updated to use enum (engine, framework, web) (#170696)
issue: https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/166101, new Updates : Add new enum Tristate and CheckedState in for 7 flags. For CheckState, it used to use 3 bools (hasCheck, isChecked, isCheckStateMixed) to represent check states, replace them with a CheckState enum. For other 6 flags, each has 2 bools (hasXXState and isXX), replace them with a Tristate enum. Add SemanticsLabelBuilder for Accessible Label Concatenation (#171683)

This PR adds `SemanticsLabelBuilder`, a new utility class for creating accessible concatenated labels with proper text direction handling and spacing. Currently, developers manually concatenate semantic labels using string interpolation, which is error-prone and leads to accessibility issues like missing spaces, incorrect text direction for RTL languages. While not fixing a specific filed issue, it provides a robust solution for the common pattern of building complex semantic labels that are critical for accessibility compliance, particularly for multilingual applications and complex UI components like contact cards, dashboards, and e-commerce listings. ## Breaking Changes No breaking changes were made. Fix hit-testing order in semantics (#167522)
Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/163576 In `updateWith()` method, `_replaceChildren()` is called to generate `_children` list. `_children` list is used to generate the hit test order (`childrenInHitTestOrder`). In `_replaceChildren()`, `childrenIn**Inverse**PaintOrder` is directly assigned to _children, so _children itself follows hit test order.
