[ Widget Preview ] Add UUID to registered DTD streams and services (#180140)
DTD only supports a single instance of a registered service with a given
name. For widget preview development, we sometimes want to use a DTD
instance that's attached to an IDE to test IDE integration. However,
IDEs frequently spawn their own widget preview instances which register
services with DTD. In the case where `flutter widget-preview start
--dtd-url=<dtd-url>` is run and `dtd-url` points to a DTD instance with
another widget preview service running, the process simply crashes.

This change adds a unique identifier to the widget preview DTD service
and stream names that allows for each `flutter widget-preview start`
instance to register its own unique widget preview DTD services, even if
other widget preview instances are using the same DTD instance.

[ Widget Preview ] Add embedded Widget Inspector support (#178116)
This change allows for users to open an instance of the DevTools Widget
Inspector within a web view embedded in the widget previewer. This will
allow for developers to inspect their previews without requiring IDEs to
create a special debug session for the widget previewer application.

DWDS is also rolled as part of this change to add DDS and DevTools
support for the `web-server` device.

We don't have a single place to update the minimum iOS version in the

[ Widget Preview ] Always generate scaffold under $TMP (#179039)
Since `flutter clean` can delete the `.dart_tool/` directory while a
`flutter widget-preview start` command is active, it's possible for the
`widget_preview_scaffold` to be deleted and cause the preview process to
crash.

This change works around this issue by always generating the
`widget_preview_scaffold` project under $TMP on each invocation of the
previewer. This doesn't result in much of a regression in startup times
as we currently aren't launching the previewer using restored state as
this isn't currently possible with the web device targets. Moving the
scaffold under $TMP means Flutter tooling will never accidentally delete
the scaffold while the previewer is running.

Filed https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/179036 to track
reverting this behavior when a better solution is found.

[ Widget Preview ] Fix crash when widget_preview_scaffold/.dart_tool doesn't exist (#178662)
If the `.dart_tool/widget_preview_scaffold/.dart_tool/` directory wasn't
created during the initial run of `flutter widget-preview start` due to
the command being interrupted or `pub` being disabled, `flutter
widget-preview start` would crash due to the `package_config.json` logic
walking up the directory structure looking for the nearest
`package_config.json`. This would point to the parent project's
`package_config.json`, which would not be compatible with the widget
preview scaffold project.

Revert "Separate copying dsym into its own target (#178261)" (#178545)
This reverts commit b1d5f03351590a0954d19c7584186f0722323169.

Turns out this isn't needed for
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/166489 after all. It appeared
that SwiftPM wasn't copying the dSYM, but I now think I had my build
modes mixed up (since dSYMs are only relevant to release mode).

Separate copying dsym into its own target (#178261)
During a release build, we copy the
`bin/cache/artifacts/engine/ios-release/Flutter.xcframework/ios-arm64/dSYMs/Flutter.framework.dSYM`
to the `build/ios/Release-iphoneos/Flutter.framework.dSYM` as part of
the `UnpackIOS` build target.

This moves that logic from `UnpackIOS` into its own target
(`ReleaseUnpackIOSDsym`) and adds `ReleaseUnpackIOSDsym` as a dependency
of `ReleaseUnpackIOS`. This is needed so that if `UnpackIOS` is skipped,
`ReleaseUnpackIOSDsym` can still run.

This also applies that same logic to macOS.

Incremental change toward
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/166489.

Respect product flavor abiFilters by adding a disable-abi-filtering Android project flag. (#177753)
This PR introduces a flag (`disable-abi-filtering`) that disables the
FlutterPlugin's abiFiltering on buildTypes. This should only be used
when the developers know what they are doing. Specifically this allows
developers to set their own abiFilters in ProductFlavors or
defaultConfig.

Because Gradle has complex merging logic, there is a hierarchy of
priority when calculating settings (like abiFilters). For example:
defaultConfig < productFlavors < buildTypes when combining the three
into the final build variant. If abiFilters are set in buildType, it
will override abiFilters in productFlavors.

When the FlutterPlugin executes, it cannot know about the developers
build.gradle settings and therefore we cannot add logic that checks to
see if abiFilters are set in productFlavors. Therefore, this flag gives
developers an escape hatch so they can implement what they want.

Bump Templates To Correct Versions (#177416)
I bumped templates to the correct versions. I also included a fix for
kgp and agp compatability.

AGP 8.11.0 -> 8.11.1
Gradle 8.13 -> 8.14
KGP 2.2.0 -> 2.2.20

I ran `flutter analyze --suggestions` and `flutter build apk` to ensure
these are safe versions.

Will cherry pick this to beta after the pr merges.

Fixed hot reload/restart crashes after closing browser tab on web-server device (#177026)
This PR fixes crashes during hot reload/restart operations on web-server
devices that occur when browser tabs are closed. Previously, the VM
service would throw "Bad state: No element" errors when attempting
operations with no connected clients. The fix introduces graceful
handling on both sides: DWDS now catches NoClientsAvailableException in
its hot reload/restart operations and returns structured JSON responses
with a noClientsAvailable boolean flag instead of throwing exceptions.
Flutter Tools reads this flag via a helper method
_checkNoClientsAvailable() and handles the scenario gracefully by
displaying "Recompile complete. No client connected." while preserving
the DWDS connection to automatically support browser reconnections
without requiring a full restart of the Flutter tools.

[ Tool ] Serve DevTools from DDS, remove ResidentDevToolsHandler (#174580)
This PR contains the initial work to prepare for the removal of
instances of DevTools being served manually by the flutter_tool, instead
relying on DDS to serve DevTools. This will be consistent with how the
standalone Dart VM serves DevTools, tying the DevTools lifecycle to a
live DDS instance. This will allow for the removal of much of the logic
needed to properly manage the lifecycle of the DevTools server in a
future PR. Also, by serving DevTools from DDS, users will no longer need
to forward a secondary port in remote workflows as DevTools will be
available on the DDS port.

There's two remaining circumstances that will prevent us from removing
`DevtoolsRunner` completely:

  - The daemon's `devtools.serve` endpoint
- `flutter drive`'s `--profile-memory` flag used for recording memory
profiles

Deprecate Objective-C plugin template (#174003)
This PR marks the `--ios-language objc` flag as deprecated for plugin
creation. It introduces a warning message in the `flutter create` tool
when the flag is used, but **does not** remove the functionality at this
time. This is the first step towards its eventual removal.

## Context

As discussed in the issue, usage metrics show that Objective-C is used
in less than 4% of newly created plugins. To streamline the tool and
align with modern iOS development practices (i.e., Swift), we are
beginning the process of phasing out this option

**Changes:**
- Adds a deprecation warning to the CLI when the `objc` flag is used.
- Updates the `--help` text to reflect the deprecation.
- Removes obsolete tests for Objective-C plugin creation and usage
tracking.

## Testing

I have validated these changes by:

1. Manually running `flutter-dev create` with the `objc` flag to confirm
the new deprecation warning appears.
2. Verifying that creating a plugin without the --ios-language flag does
**not** trigger the warning.
3. Running the tests in the `test/commands.shard` to ensure no
regressions were introduced.
4. CI will validate the changes to the devicelab tests.

Add data assets (#174685)
Refiling of #169273 (reverted in
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/170034), which is a refiling of
#164094, which itself is a rebase of #159675.

This PR adds bundling support for the experimental dart data asset
feature: Dart packages with hooks can now emit data assets which the
flutter tool will bundle.

It relies on flutter's existing asset bundling mechanism (e.g. entries
in AssetManifest.json, DevFS syncing in reload/restart, ...).

The support is added under an experimental flag (similar to the existing
native assets experimental flag).

Also, kNativeAssets is removed to also bundle data assets on flutter
build bundle.

The chrome sandbox is disabled as per #165664.

[ios][tools] do not print out bonjour key not found in non-verbose mode (#174001)

This tries https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/173569 again

That PR was reverted, because I didn't know that `streamOutput` was the
one used during non-verbose mode

The logging logic is a bit convoluted, see:
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/173887

So this PR simply changes the condition from

```
if (!verbose && exitCode == 0)
```

To

```
if (!verbose && exitCode == 0 && !skipErrorLog)
```

So that if we skipErrorLog (will be true for bonjour features), it
doesn't call `streamOutput`.

Revert "[ios][tools]do not log "bonjour not found" at all (unless verbose)" (#173879)
Reverts flutter/flutter#173569

Sorry I have to revert this one as it didn't work.

# Why didn't work

From the comment, it looks like `echoError` is only used for verbose
mode, and `streamOutput` is used for non-verbose mode (I am still
looking into how this is setup)

e4f27cd097/packages/flutter_tools/bin/xcode_backend.dart (L151)

# How to fix

## Possible Fix 1

I tested this works, by changing this line:

https://github.com/flutter/flutter/blob/master/packages/flutter_tools/bin/xcode_backend.dart#L159

into this:

```
if (!verbose && exitCode == 0 && !skipErrorLog)
```

## Possible fix 2:

Surprisingly this also works:
```
if (!verbose && exitCode == 0) {
  streamOutput(errorOutput.string().replaceAll('error', '');
}
```

Although we made sure `errorOutput` doesn't start with `error:`, there's
an `error:` in the middle of the string.

Possibly because of this code in `mac.dart`:

e4f27cd097/packages/flutter_tools/lib/src/ios/mac.dart (L431-L433)

# Why we missed it?

I tested my initial code code and assumed updated code would work,
because I incorrectly thought `echoError` was the one triggered the
output in non-verbose mode. I should have verified it.

[ios][tools]do not log "bonjour not found" at all (unless verbose) (#173569)
The previous PR https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/172913 avoids
compilation error by not having the "error: " prefix. However, it's
still very confusing to have "key not found" printed out in the terminal
(either stderr or stdout), despite that it doesn't cause compilation
error anymore.

This PR introduces a new flag "skipErrorLog" which skips logging the
`stderr` if set to true. We set it for plist extraction, because "not
having bonjour key" should be one of the expected "normal" states

<s> We don't want to pipe it to `stdout` either, because it would be
confusing too. I figured people would still file issue if they see it in
terminal, even if it's a completely normal state. But not a strong
opinion, so let me know if you disagree. </s>

However, under verbose mode, we would pipe it to `stdout`. This will be
consistent with our previous behavior before macOS 26.

[ Tool ] Fix crash from possible DDS startup race (#173362)
It's possible (but unlikely) that two DDS instances can try and start at
the same time (e.g., a "flutter run" is initiated while an existing
"flutter attach" is waiting for a target to attach to). This can lead to
DDS failing to initialize for one of the processes when the VM service
disconnects it after the other process successfully invokes the
"_yieldControlToDDS" RPC.

This change adds some retry logic to avoid crashing in this scenario.

Remove jetifier usages from framework and engine (#173459)
Justification this is safe:
useAndroidX which I left in this pr was added in 2018 and is one of 2
flags that control what compile behavior is used as android migrated
from the support library to androidx.
We (flutter android) believe we have migrated all support library usages
to android x.
Android Studio does not automatically insert the Jetifier flag in newly
created projects, suggesting a move towards less reliance on it.

I think even if plugins were using the support libraries this pr would
not break them because the targets being modified are tests in this repo
and the engine build which only uses androidx dependencies.
