939bf2ef90 Remove redundant empty table check from computeMaxIntrinsicHeight
The check in computeMaxIntrinsicHeight was redundant since the method
delegates to getMinIntrinsicHeight(), which eventually calls
computeMinIntrinsicHeight() where the same check already exists.

This simplifies the code while maintaining the same functionality.

The checks in computeMinIntrinsicWidth, computeMaxIntrinsicWidth, and
computeMinIntrinsicHeight remain as they either prevent division by
zero or serve as performance optimizations for direct computations.

d1926b0cbf Fix division by zero in RenderTable intrinsic size methods
When RenderTable has 0 columns and intrinsic size methods are called
with non-zero width constraints, the _computeColumnWidths() method
attempts to divide by zero at line 1140:

  final double delta = (minWidthConstraint - tableWidth) / columns;

This adds early return checks for empty tables (rows * columns == 0)
to four intrinsic size methods:
- computeMinIntrinsicWidth
- computeMaxIntrinsicWidth
- computeMinIntrinsicHeight
- computeMaxIntrinsicHeight

This matches the pattern already used by other methods that call
_computeColumnWidths(), such as computeDryLayout (line 1274),
performLayout (line 1318), and paint (line 1461).

All four methods now return 0.0 for empty tables, which is consistent
with the behavior of other dimension methods.

Added comprehensive test coverage to verify that empty tables handle
intrinsic size queries without crashing.

Fix/ios share context menu (#176199)
This PR fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/173491 by adding
the missing 'Share' option to the default iOS SystemContextMenu when
shareEnabled is true.

Changes:

Added IOSSystemContextMenuItemShare to getDefaultItems in
system_context_menu.dart.
Added a widget test to ensure Share is present in the default items for
non-empty selections on iOS.
Rationale:
This aligns Flutter's default iOS text selection context menu with
native iOS behavior, ensuring users see the expected 'Share' option when
selecting text.

Demo:
Video showing Share option in iOS context menu:

Improve Container color/decoration error message clarity (#178823)
## Description

This PR improves the clarity of the error message shown when developers
provide both `color` and `decoration` parameters to a `Container`
widget.

### Problem

The previous assertion message was confusing and contradictory:
```
Cannot provide both a color and a decoration
To provide both, use "decoration: BoxDecoration(color: color)".
```

This message stated "Cannot provide **both**" but then suggested "To
provide **both**, use...", which confused developers about the actual
requirement. The suggestion appeared to offer a workaround to use both
parameters together, when in fact it was explaining how to migrate from
using `color` to using `decoration` exclusively.

### Solution

Updated the assertion message to clearly explain:
- The `color` parameter is a shorthand for `decoration:
BoxDecoration(color: color)`
- Developers should use **either** `color` OR `decoration`, not both
- To use both a color and other decoration properties (like borders,
shadows, etc.), set the color within the `BoxDecoration` instead

**New message:**
```
Cannot provide both a color and a decoration.
The color argument is just a shorthand for "decoration: BoxDecoration(color: color)".
To use both a color and other decoration properties, set the color in the BoxDecoration instead.
```

[Framework] iOS style blurring and ImageFilterConfig (#175473)
This PR adds the framework support for a new iOS-style blur. The new
style, which I call "bounded blur", works by adding parameters to the
blur filter that specify the bounds for the region that the filter
sources pixels from.

As discussed in design doc
[flutter.dev/go/ios-style-blur-support](http://flutter.dev/go/ios-style-blur-support),
it's impossible to pass layout information to filters with the current
`ImageFilter` design. Therefore this PR creates a new class
`ImageFilterConfig`.

This PR also applies bounded blur to `CupertinoPopupSurface`. The
following images show the different looks of a dialog in front of
background with abrupt color changes just outside of the border. Notice
how the abrupt color changes no longer bleed in.

<img width="639" height="411" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/4ceb9620-1056-45c3-b5fa-2ed16d90aace"
/>

<img width="639" height="411" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/abe564f7-ea60-4d07-ad58-063c0e3794a5"
/>

This feature continues to matter for iOS 26, since the liquid glass
design also heavily features blurring.

### API changes

* `BackdropFilter`: Add `filterConfig`
* `RenderBackdropFilter`: Add `filterConfig`. Deprecate `filter`.
* `ImageFilter`: Add `debugShortDescription` (previously private
property `_shortDescription`)

### Demo

The following video compares the effect of a bounded blur and an
unbounded blur.

Add support for Shift-Delete, Ctrl-Insert and Shift-Insert (#178561)
This PR adds `SingleActivator` mappings for IBM CUA style clipboard
accessors, with which Shift-Delete, Ctrl-Insert and Shift-Insert are
equivalent to ^X ^C ^V. These mappings are natively supported on Windows
and Linux (but not OS X).

~Not sure what to do about:~
- ~Documentation: Are ^X ^C ^V already documented?~
- ~Tests: Are there existing tests for ^X ^C ^V already? Is it possible
to mock out the clipboard so that a test of this functionality doesn't
hit the actual system clipboard?~
- ~OS X: Is it a problem that, with this change, Flutter will accept
these additional shortcuts even though they aren't a part of the
platform paradigm?~

UPDATE:
I'm not aware of existing documentation of clipboard shortcuts.

I have added tests, both of the existing ^X ^C ^V and of the IBM CUA
style mappings added by this PR, and in the current iteration the
changes do not add IBM CUA style mappings on OS X.

docs: clarify dropdown menu text clearing (#179676)
<!--
Thanks for filing a pull request!
Reviewers are typically assigned within a week of filing a request.
To learn more about code review, see our documentation on Tree Hygiene:
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/blob/main/docs/contributing/Tree-hygiene.md
-->

The documentation for `DropdownMenu`'s `controller` and
`initialSelection` properties has been updated. It now explicitly states
that clearing the text field requires using a `TextEditingController`'s
`clear()` method, and that setting `initialSelection` to null will not
clear the text. A code snippet demonstrating how to clear the text field
has also been added.

Fix for: #177599

Remove an obsolete TODO in DataTable (#180033)
When the `InkWell` was added, it was used only for a gesture callback,
and at that time the InkWell should only be added when the gesture
callback was needed. Due to an issue, we couldn't swap out the child
widget dynamically.

Even though that the issue has been fixed, the `InkWell` is considered
mandatory since it is now used by two more properties. (Theoretically we
can check if any of the 3 properties is needed to add this `InkWell`,
but I think that's too much.)

This PR adds extra properties to `CheckboxListTile`, `SwitchListTile`
and `RadioListTile`. These properties are already implemented for the
`ListTile` and passed through from `CheckboxListTile`, `SwitchListTile`
and `RadioListTile` to the underlying `ListTile`.

The following properties are added:
    - `horizontalTitleGap`
    - `minVerticalPadding`
    - `minLeadingWidth`
    - `minTileHeight`

Fixes #83898 and builds on #154417 and #83902

Add Adwaita Sans as a font fallback on Linux (#179144)
Gnome 48 (from March 2025) switched its default font from `Cantarell` to
`Adwaita Sans`:
https://blogs.gnome.org/monster/introducing-adwaita-fonts/.

This PR adds `Adwaita Sans` to the Linux font fallbacks list: `Adwaita
Sans` will be used instead of `Cantarell` if available.

Adwaita Sans is a slightly tweaked version of Inter, and therefore fits
in with `Roboto` and the rest of the Linux font stack.

[ios][pv] accept/reject gesture based on hitTest (with new widget API) (#179659)
This is a follow up PR to [this original
PR](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/177859).

The difference is the API - the original PR chooses Option 1 [in the
design
doc](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ag4drAdJsR7y-rQZkqJWc6tOQ4qCbflQSGyoxsSC6MM/edit?tab=t.0),
while this PR chooses Option 3.

## Usage

To directly use flutter API, just pass in the policy when creating
UiKitView widget.

```
UiKitView(
  ...
  gestureBlockingPolicy: UiKitViewGestureBlockingPolicy)
  ...
)
```

For plugins, we need to update plugins to use this new API.

```
WebView(
  ...
  gestureBlockingPolicy: UiKitViewGestureBlockingPolicy
) {
  return UiKitView(
    ..
    gestureBlockingPolicy: gestureBlockingPolicy
  )
}
```
For more information, refer to [the old
PR](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/177859).

Reland: Add framework-side hitTestBehavior support to Semantics (#178817) (#179352)
This is a reland of #178817, which was reverted in #179100 due to test
failures.

The original PR introduced `hitTestBehavior` to the semantics framework
but incorrectly applied `opaque` behavior to `ModalRoute`, which blocked
platform views from receiving pointer events.

Instead of making the entire modal opaque, we:
1. Keep `ModalRoute` without explicit `hitTestBehavior` (defaults to
`defer`)
2. Make only the dialog/sheet content opaque (blocks clicks to barrier)
3. Platform views remain clickable because they're outside the opaque
content boundary

added onUserInteractionIfError for form (#175515)
This PR adds a new `AutovalidateMode` value:
`onUserInteractionIfError`.

This mode allows `Form` and `FormField` widgets to auto-validate **only
when a field already has an error and the user interacts with it
again**.

### Why
- Current modes (`disabled`, `always`, `onUserInteraction`, `onUnfocus`)
do not cover the case where developers want validation **only when
correcting an error**.
- This improves UX by reducing unnecessary validation calls while still
ensuring errors disappear as soon as the user fixes them.

### How
- Added `onUserInteractionIfError` to `AutovalidateMode`.
- Updated Dartdoc with detailed description and example snippet.
- Added new unit tests to validate behavior.
- Verified no regressions in other modes (`always`, `onUnfocus`,
`onUserInteraction`).

### Example

```dart
TextFormField(
  autovalidateMode: AutovalidateMode.onUserInteractionIfError,
  validator: (value) => value!.isEmpty ? 'Required field' : null,
)
````

## Related Issues

Fixes #\<INSERT\_RELATED\_ISSUE\_NUMBER\_IF\_ANY>

---

## Tests

* Added widget tests to confirm that:

  * No validation occurs until a field has an error.
* Once an error exists, validation runs automatically on user
interaction.
  * Resetting the form clears errors correctly.
* Regression tests ensure that `always`, `onUserInteraction`, and
`onUnfocus` modes still behave correctly.

Reimplemented StretchingOverscrollIndicator with Simulation ported from Android 12. (#173849)
Fixed an issue #169659

This PR improves the StretchingOverscrollIndicator to better match
native Android behavior.

- Previously, the stretch effect worked well only for slow dragging, and
during fast flings it was absent or felt clipped.
- Implemented a Simulation-based animation that responds naturally to
both slow drags and high-velocity flings.
- The result closely resembles the native Android overscroll behavior
while maintaining Flutter's performance characteristics.

This change ensures that momentum-based gestures produce a more natural
and intuitive overscroll experience, especially for users accustomed to
native Android scroll views.

Add DropdownMenu.selectOnly (#179189)
## Description

This PR adds `DropdownMenu.selectOnly`. This property allows users to
get the DropdownMenu behave as a 'select' component.
It is meant as a future replacement for
`DropdownMenu.requestFocusOnTap`.

## Motivation

On mobile, a dropdown menu widget is usually used as a ‘select’ widget
because opening the keyboard for searching/filtering is not convenient.

In Flutter, this is currently implemented through
`DropdownMenu.requestFocusOnTap` which defaults to false on mobile and
true on desktop.
The `DropdownMenu.requestFocusOnTap` property is currently used to set
`FocusNode.canRequestFocus`. This leads do difficulties mainly related
to focus traversal:
- Keyboard traversal requires workarounds (for instance relying on the
trailing icon to be focusable).
- Keyboard shortcuts require also a workaround (currently relying on a
Focus widget in a Stack).
- The `DropdownMenu` decoration does not reflect the focus state.

This PR proposes a new property named `DropdownMenu.selectOnly` which
does not require `DropdownMenu.requestFocusOnTap` to be false to make
the `DropdownMenu` behave like a select widget.

With this property the `DropdownMenu`:
- Supports keyboard navigation on mobile and desktop.
- Has a correct decoration when focused.
- Does not rely on the trailing icon to be focusable (see
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/174096).

In the future this property could be used as a replacement for
`DropdownMenu.requestFocusOnTap`. For the moment, for compatibility, it
does not replace `DropdownMenu.requestFocusOnTap`.

## Related Issue

control) ](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/178009)
