Add clearError API to Form and FormFieldState (#180752)
This PR introduces a `clearError` API for `FormFieldState` and `FormState`, allowing validation errors to be cleared without resetting field values or re-running validation. [Material] Remove Material import from backdrop_filter_test.dart widget tests (#181386)

Split the tests into two files: - Widgets tests (packages/flutter/test/widgets/backdrop_filter_test.dart): * Removed Material import, now uses widgets-only * Replaced MaterialApp + Scaffold with Directionality wrapper * Replaced Colors.black.withAlpha(40) with Color(0x28000000) * Kept 2 tests that validate BackdropFilter key behavior - Material tests (packages/flutter/test/material/backdrop_filter_test.dart): * Moved 4 Material-specific golden file tests (M2/M3 comparisons) * These tests require Material theming to validate rendering differences - Updated dev/bots/check_tests_cross_imports.dart to remove backdrop_filter_test.dart This approach keeps Material-specific tests in the material directory while enabling the simple widget tests to pass without Material dependencies. Move CheckedModeBanner tests to material and remove Material import from widgets banner_test (#181261)

Propagates Overlay's MediaQueryData to OverlayPortal child (#181579)
Widgets like Scaffold strip MediaQueryData causing widgets rendered in the Overlay to be obscured, e.g., by the software keyboard. [Related Issue - 142921](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/142921) [Related Issue - 157664](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/157664) This does not directly fix these two issues but appears to be an underlying issue with both which merited this being a separate PR. Remove Material library dependency from expansible_test.dart (#181657)
This PR removes the unnecessary dependency on the Material library from expansible_test.dart by replacing `MaterialApp` with `WidgetsApp`. Part of #177415 ### Changes 1. **Import change**: Replaced `package:flutter/material.dart` with `package:flutter/widgets.dart` 2. **Widget setup**: Changed from `MaterialApp(home: ...)` to `TestWidgetsApp(home: ...)` - `WidgetsApp` requires either `builder`, `onGenerateRoute`, or `pageRouteBuilder` to be provided If neither builder nor onGenerateRoute are provided, the pageRouteBuilder must be specified so that the default handler will know what kind of PageRoute transition to build. 3. **Updated position assertions**: Since `WidgetsApp` with `builder` doesn't include the default scaffold/status bar padding that `MaterialApp` with `home` provides, the expected y-coordinate values were adjusted by -34 pixels: - `90.08984375` → `56.08984375` - `98.0` → `64.0` - `80.91015625` → `46.91015625` - `48.0` → `14.0` ## Pre-launch Checklist - [x] I read the [Contributor Guide] and followed the process outlined there for submitting PRs. - [x] I read the [Tree Hygiene] wiki page, which explains my responsibilities. - [x] I read and followed the [Flutter Style Guide], including [Features we expect every widget to implement]. - [x] I signed the [CLA]. - [x] I listed at least one issue that this PR fixes in the description above. - [x] I updated/added relevant documentation (doc comments with `///`). - [x] I added new tests to check the change I am making, or this PR is [test-exempt]. - [x] I followed the [breaking change policy] and added [Data Driven Fixes] where supported. - [x] All existing and new tests are passing. |

Reduce reliance on Material in page_transitions_test.dart (#181467)
This PR reduces the reliance on Material in page_transitions_test.dart but does not entirely remove it. 1) Moves a test for persistent bottom sheet to the right file 2) Fixes a use of `sync*` (not sure why this is not caught by dev/bots/analyze.dart, that _does_ check for `sync*` cc @Piinks ) 3) Replaces some easy usages of Material widgets with its widget counterparts. The only thing that I did not yet fix is replacing `MaterialApp` in this file. That probably needs @victorsanni 's work on page transitions to be addressed first? Remove material from slivers_appbar_floating_pinned_test.dart + slivers_appbar_stretch_test.dart + sliver_persistent_header_test.dart + slivers_appbar_floating_test.dart (#181469)
This PR cleans up material imports in slivers_appbar_floating_pinned_test.dart (this was actually testing `SliverPinnedHeader` ?) and moves tests from `test/widgets/slivers_appbar_stretch_test.dart` to the right test file under the Material tests. A bunch of tests have been moved 1 to 1 to their new destination. Some test code was deduplicated and a bunch of tests had their names fixed. Except for one test that needed an updated `find` expression, due to a change in one of the `SliverPersistentHeaderDelegate`s, nothing was semantically changed in the tests that were updated in this PR. Deprecate onReorder callback (#178242)
This pull request deprecates the old `onReorder` callback of `ReorderableList` / `SliverReorderableList` / `ReorderableListView`, in favor of a new callback, `onReorderItem`, that does the index correction as mentioned in the docs at https://api.flutter.dev/flutter/widgets/ReorderCallback.html I added tests to ensure that the old callback is preferred when both are provided and tests that assert that the new callback does the index correction correctly. I also noticed that some tests used empty callbacks for `onReorder`, those have been updated to use wildcards in a consistent manner. I did not opt into making a design doc, since the change itself is very small, that will also be apparent in the migration guide that I am going to write. Send statusBarTouch events via dedicated messages (#179643)
Instead of using fake touch events. Before this patch `FlutterViewController` sends two fake touch events (down and up), at `(0, 0)` to the framework to signal that the status bar is tapped on iOS. The scaffold widget and the cupertino page scaffold widget set up gesture detectors to listen for these fake taps, and scroll the "primary" scrollable container to the top in response. This messaging mechanism is sometimes ambiguous, as the framework may interpret that as a pair of regular pointer tap events (for instance in #177992 the modal barrier claims the tap gesture and as a result the modal barrier is dismissed by the fake touch events). This PR changes that to communicate the status bar tap event via a new system channel, and dispatch the events via `WidgetsBindingObserver`s in the framework. Remove unnecessary Material import from sliver_visibility_test (#181248)

Changes: - Replaced `import 'package:flutter/material.dart'` with `import 'package:flutter/widgets.dart'` - Removed `DefaultMaterialLocalizations.delegate` from the localizations delegates list This helps with the decoupling of Material and Cupertino from the core framework. [Android] Add display corner radii support. (#179219)

As was discussed in https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/97349, the iOS API for getting display corner radii is private. The only safe way to get the radii values is to generate a lookup table ahead and use its values at runtime. Fix test cross-imports for ListTile (#180572)
- A part of https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/177415 - In this PR: - Build a minimal TestListTile widget in `list_tile_test_utils.dart`. Remove MaterialButtons and Divider from draggable_scrollable_sheet_test.dart (#180996)
This PR removes the MaterialButtons and Divider from test/widgets/draggable_scrollable_sheet_test.dart I also replaced some usages of WidgetsApp that did not use `WidgetsApp(home: home)` with MaterialApp. These usages can be replaced once https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/180456 provides `TestWidgetsApp`. This PR removes `Divider` usages from `test/widgets/scroll_view_test.dart` and `test/widgets/list_view_test.dart`. Usages of `Divider()` still exist under `examples/api` and in code samples under `lib/widgets`, though. clean up usages of resetXyz for TestFlutterView (#180840)
While reviewing https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/180728 we noticed that usage of `TestFlutterView.resetXyz()` was quite liberal and some places benefit from using `TestFlutterView.reset()`, to avoid repetition.
